Why Nantucket:
My parents came to Nantucket for their honeymoon 50 years ago and fell in love with the island, they ended up purchasing a house in 'Sconset when I was three years old. I vacationed here every summer as a child then bought my own home in 1998 and moved here year-round. Nantucket is a beautiful place to live so I consider myself very lucky.
Best part of J Pepper Frazier Real Estate:
I have worked at J Pepper Frazier Company going on 10 years and have enjoyed being affiliated with the Frazier family. I find that working with people you have known since childhood, who share a lifelong love of the island, makes for a great work environment.
Best Event on ACK:
The Boston Pops and July 4th Fireworks are great summer events, but I find that the fundraisers for local people in need are the most fulfilling to be a part of, those are the events that reveal the true spirit behind this community.
Beautiful beaches, walking trails and other aspects of nature. Going for a swim, a nice walk with the dogs and watching the sunset in Madaket, never become just routine.
Le Languedoc, The Club Car, The Pearl and 56 Union are all wonderful dining spots. The Galley at sunset is beautiful and brunch at The Chanticleer surrounded by roses is something that I love to do every year.
Great Point is the best beach for fishing, but for swimming I think any south shore beach is great. Of course if you go to Madaket beach, then you can stay for the fantastic sunset!
School Affiliations:
Mount Holyoke College, where I graduated with a BA in Art History and Syracuse University where I received an MA in Museum Studies.
Volunteering & Charity Associations:
Chair of the Education Committee for The Nantucket Association of Real Estate Brokers.
Favorite Quote:
"When you walk to the edge of all the light you have and take that first step into the darkness of the unknown, you must believe that one of two things will happen. There will be something solid for you to stand upon or you will be taught to fly." -Patrick Overton
When not working:
I enjoy traveling, reading, cooking and spending time laughing with my canine and human family.
