Traveling with your Pet to Nantucket
Nantucket is a dog friendly island! Many of our rentals allow a dog and there are several easy ways to get them here. The slow and fast ferries permit pets. If your are flying from Hyannis or New Bedford, you are allowed to have the dog sit behind you in the plane at no charge. If you are flying from anywhere else, your dog needs to fit in a crate under your seat. If your rental house does not allow a dog, there is a wonderful animal hospital that also does boarding.
