Scalloping on Nantucket

Interested in catching your own scallops on island? From Wednesdays to Sundays all fall and winter long, residents and non-residents can go recreational scalloping at designated locations on island. The limit is one bushel per license per week. Bay scallops must have well defined raised growth line to be legally harvested. You can get the license at the Nantucket Marine Department on Washington St. It will be one of the best dinners of your life!
