The Season Begins!
Amidst a nine month period of dismal economic reports, we are happy to report that Nantucket is more than alive and well, there is a flurry of activity and the island is filled with summer loving guests eager to enjoy their island time. There is approx $35M worth of property under contract, and set to close. The sales properties with list prices that reflect the current economic trends are being shown very frequently. As of June 1st approx $110M worth of sales have closed in 2009. We anticipate the property transfers to rise in the 2nd and 3rd quarters. |
