Nantucket Garden Festival
The Nantucket Garden Festival will be happening Thursday July 22nd through Saturday, July 24th. It benefits the Lighthouse School, which is an independent day-school serving children pre-school through 8th grade through a developmentally appropriate education that engages the whole child-head, heart, and hand. The event is located downtown, under the tent at the Dreamland Theater Lot, at the Nantucket Lighthouse school, and around private island gardens. There is quite the schedule of events, everything from a guided tour of four different ways to keep chickens, to “natural gardening” and composting workshops, as well as garden tours. There are also workshops for children on Friday and Saturday. Additionally, there is a Garden Marketplace with exhibits, and shopping gallore, featuring many local artisans. JPFCO Website Updates
In a continued effort to make our website even more user friendly and intuitive, we have added a nifty mapping feature. This feature shows each listing on a Nantucket island map to demonstrate island location. This makes is easy for potential renters to get a complete picture of where the rental property is located in correlation to other landmarks, and even other rental properties. This feature is accessible from the “view area map” button between “overview” and “more info”.
Also, a reminder that we have a Homeowner update form. This is a great place for homeowners to give JPFCO availability and rate updates. These come directly to the office, and are generally quicker then a phone call! This link is located under the homeowner calendar, just click on “availability update”. |
