REAL ESTATE BUZZ
  Notes from Dalton Frazier's Blog

I know it is not the hey day, but it does not feel like ’07/’08 either. I drive down the road and see new buildings, huge renovations dotting the landscaping all around me. This is the busiest February I can remember in the last 4 years. I hope these are signs for not only Nantucket, but for the economy as a whole.

Wait ’til you see the Cliffside area on your way to The Galley next summer :-)

RENTAL BUZZ
"I NEED a King Sized Bed and a Gas Grill"

Generally when Tenants call the office they have at least one amenity they can't fathom vacationing without. It is then the Rental Agent's job to find houses with these required amenities in desired locations with requested availability, and don't forget price range!

Here are a few statistics straight from the JPFCO Rental inventory of houses:
390 have at least one king sized bed
595 have Grills
42 have Pools
310 have Air Conditioning
193 offer Waterviews
181 have Outdoor Showers

NANTUCKET REAL ESTATE NEWSWIRE

NOTES FROM PEPPER THE ELDER
  Capiche

Where do they come up with these things? Miami Beach? Voted the worst city in America. I don't think so. Have they never heard of Syracuse? Miami Beach is pretty cool. The wonderful Cubano influence, the great art deco and super boss fud. What motivates pollsters to find Miami Beach the worst city in America? Is it effeteness gone amuck? Are the people having too much fun? A sin in the eyes of some. What has more cache, Orlando or Miami Beach? Well if Miami Beach is the worst city in America than Hyannis is a better place to live than Nantucket. So don't believe everything you read and the only real way to experience the true merit of a town, city, or resort is to physically visit it. My point being that while some of these polls in travel magazines are accurate, some are so off-the-wall, it's mind boggling. All aboard for Nantucket. Capiche?
