GROUND NOTES FROM DALTON
  School Break

As I walk around the Beaches resort in Turks and Caicos, it reminds me how important presentation is, which in turn reminds me how important landscaping is to a property. Beaches owns an amazing piece of property here and the landscaping is stunning. We went to the sushi place last night and ordered edamame. Edamame typically don't last, but they brought them out of their shells. Much of the pleasure of eating edamame comes from eating them out of their shells. The presentation was off and there sat the edamame. Landscaping is the last line item on the budget, but it is arguably the most important.

LET'S MAKE IT HAPPEN WITH PEPPER II
  Four Legged Friends

We love how our four legged friends help make it happen at JPFCO and in general. Born and raised with dogs I have realized they are some of the most selfless beings on Earth. I love dogs and they help make it happen the JPFCO way. The other day on the beach a person had temporarily lost their dog, and being an Islander dog lover we went on the hunt. We found the dog in the dunes and the person was very grateful. We all became friends, the dogs and the humans. The person wound up purchasing a waterfront house and listing his house through team JPFCO. This how we make it happen at JPFCO!!!

NOTES FROM PEPPER THE ELDER
  Words

The two most important words in the English language? Yeah. No wise guy remarks and let's keep it clean. What are they? And they occur every year at this time. PLAY BALL! Wonderfully American and only American. I thought of this when I had the good fortune to 'go' to the spring training opener between the Orioles and the Devil Rays.

The Rays, the cheapest franchise in baseball looked terrible, and deservedly so. Their ownership, 100% 'take me home for $22.50 with an extra pair of pants,' are, there are no other words: Cheap. Cheap, Cheap. To call Tropicana Field a baseball stadium is ludicrous; a piece of junk. Baseball is a very structured sport and, generally speaking, very well run. Don't think that makes a difference? Take a look no further than the NFL and Roger 'The Idiot' Goodell. I'm not quite sure what this has to do with baseball. But the wonderful New England seasons are converging in this wonderful time of the year. Enjoy.
