There have been many side effects from it like a shortage of year-round housing and the need to build a new school to fit the expanding population of children, but one effect that is far more subtle is it is causing many tenants to book their summer rentals earlier and earlier each year.  The new houses being built are gorgeous and are using cutting edge design, materials and craftmanship.  Many of them are also available for rent for part or all of the summer.  So, once a tenant experiences renting an amazing new house, they don&#8217;t want to give it up.  Word spreads quickly and all of a sudden other tenants want the new house, too.  But, there aren&#8217;t enough new houses available for rent to keep up with the demand.  If the original tenant doesn&#8217;t lock it up right away, then there is another tenant ready to step in their shoes.
