Time and time again, Team JPFCO encounters plenty of instances where money is not the be-all, end-all, rather, memories are more important than the greenback...

We had a tenant who booked a house for 3 weeks -- the house is mint and all is good, but another house became available for 2 weeks that takes home the gold medal. The homeowner with the trophy house will not give up more than 2 weeks of ACK summertime living, no matter how much $ the tenant offers. Time to make it happen. We work a deal where the tenant stays at the trophy house paying the homeowner for 3 weeks and giving them a week at the already rented mint house. Everyone is happy because we love making it happen!!!

You've found your perfect Nantucket vacation rental for this summer; the hard part is over, and a relaxing holiday is within reach! Let's take a look at what comes next.

Do I need to bring anything with me for my rental?
Bath towels, beach towels and bed linens are provided, along with basic household paper products, garbage bags, hand soap, dish soap, and laundry detergent. Kitchens are stocked with basic cookware, including pots, pans, and utensils, as well as dinnerware, allowing for preparation of simple meals. Beach essentials like chairs, umbrellas, and coolers are typically provided, but it's a good idea to confirm with your agent, who will also be able to help answer any other specific questions about included amenities.

Do I need to stop by the JPFCO office to pick up keys?
Unless otherwise directed by your agent, you may go directly to the property. Upon your arrival, the house will be unlocked and keys will be left for you inside.

Can you help with grocery shopping, restaurant reservations, and activity planning?
Neither island Stop & Shop locations currently offer grocery delivery or pickup, but your agent can recommend local concierge and provisioning services that can also help with restaurant reservations and activity planning. If you plan to have the fridge and pantry stocked in advance, get in touch with your agent ahead of time to find out whether the property will be ready for a delivery.

How does the security deposit work?
A typical security deposit is 10% of the rental cost, but since it's ultimately up to the homeowner, some may require a higher deposit. The deposit is due with the second payment and is refunded within 60 days of checkout, barring any damages, excessive cleaning, long distance phone calls, cable charges, etc. Following your departure, the return is initiated after your agent connects with the homeowner, who then confirms with the cleaning service and caretaker that everything is functioning properly and is in expected condition.
