Why Nantucket:
My parents came to Nantucket for their honeymoon 61 years ago. They fell in love with the island and returned every summer with my siblings and I, renting various homes in Sconset. They purchased their own cottage there in 1977. Spending every summer of my life biking, playing tennis, and going to the beach in that little village, was a magical way to grow up. Buying my own home here in 1998 was an easy decision and allowed me to enjoy both the bustling summer season as well as the quieter wintertime.
Best part of J Pepper Frazier Real Estate:
I love working in a family-owned and run office. Working with a group of people who know and love the island as much as I do is such a satisfying experience.
Best Event on ACK:
The 4th of July is a magical time on the island. Fireworks, picnics, parades all celebrating the holiday, perfectly showcase the special character of Nantucket.
Activities:
Playing tennis at the Siasconset Casino (love those clay courts!), fishing for Blues and Bass at Smith Point. Playing on the beach with my rescue dog, Ollie and strolling through Sconset to see the charming, rose-covered cottages when they are in bloom.
Restaurants:
Straight Wharf to enjoy the seafood and view from the deck, Oran Mor (Truffle Bucatini), The Chanticleer garden to appreciate the gorgeous roses. Via Mare, Le Languedoc (Lobster Bisque and Steak Frites), Nautilus (Peking Duck to feed an army) and The Nantucket Yacht Club for the cool breezes and to watch the boats sailing in the harbor. Yes, I love to eat!
Beaches:
Ladies Beach and Stones Beach.
Childhood Dream Job:
To work for the FBI's Art Recovery Unit.
School Affiliations:
The Bishop Strachan School. A.B. in Art History, Mount Holyoke College. M.A. in Museum Studies, Syracuse University.

Favorite Quote:
"We shall not cease from exploration
And the end of all our exploring
Will be to arrive where we started
And know the place for the first time."
T.S. Eliot, Four Quartets
When not working:
I love to garden, read, play tennis and travel. Nothing beats hanging out with my family, especially on the beach with our rescue dog, Ollie.
