Kate Kling

Kate Kling joined J Pepper Frazier Real Estate in 2013 from Boston where she had a successful career in luxury marketing and public relations for more than 15 years. Her experience with building relationships and providing outstanding customer service helped her to seamlessly transition into real estate on the beautiful island of Nantucket. Kate also comes from a line of successful real estate professionals with her grandmother, mother, and sister all having been in the business.

In Boston, Kate was the director of communications for The Sports Club/LA and Reebok Sports Club/NY, where she was responsible for public relations, marketing, and social media, for six clubs nationwide, for nearly 10 years. She continued to work with these luxury health clubs and spas as a consultant when she founded KC Public Relations.

Having grown up in Concord, MA, Kate had visited Nantucket throughout her life, gradually spending more time on the island each year. Kate met her husband and business partner Chris on Nantucket, and now they live year round on the island with their son, Wilson. Kate is actively involved in the Nantucket community, most notably as the founder of the annual Dragonfly Fundraiser, an event to inspire change with mental illness, she created after she lost her sister. Since 2016 Dragonfly has donated $1.3 million to mental health organizations on Nantucket including Fairwind's - Nantucket's Behaviorial Health Center and NAMI CC&I on Nantucket. Kate also volunteers for Wilson's school, The Nantucket New School and Inky Santa, and previously, Meals on Wheels, and Nantucket Food Pantry.

Kate feels grateful to be living and working in real estate on the beautiful island of Nantucket. In her spare time, Kate enjoys time with family and friends at the beach, from south shore's Radio Tower and Ladies Beach to the north shore's Steps and Washing Pond, playing tennis at Great Harbor Yacht Club, golf and walks at Miacomet Golf Club, taking Wilson to the Sconset and Children's Beach playgrounds, walking Nantucket's Conservation trails such as Sanford Farm, indulging in the fine food of the island, and of course, touring beautiful homes and properties across the island. In the winter, the Kling's love to either head south to enjoy warmer weather at their second home in Delray Beach, FL, or west to Jackson Hole. Other interests include running, yoga, skiing, walks especially with their new puppy Moby, and traveling.
