Toby Strasenburgh

Phone: 843-367-6125

Toby was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. During the summers, his family would live in Siasconset. He is the 3rd generation of his family to call Sconset home for the summer months. When he was 16 years old, he moved to Weston, MA, where he graduated from Weston High School. He attended the College of Charleston and graduated with a degree in Historic Preservation and Urban Planning. During this time, he learned of Nantucket's deeper connection to Charleston, SC, as Charleston was the first city to establish a historic district and Nantucket island the second in the nation. Toby is passionate about restoration and real estate in general. In 2001, he began renovating historic property in Charleston and working as a home inspector and general contractor. He continues to this day to work in the trades and appreciates learning about houses. In 2015, he moved to Nantucket year-round after 17 years in Charleston. He looks forward to sharing his passion for real estate and knowledge of planning and zoning with clients on Nantucket. It is special to live on an island where you can run into a lifelong friend or family acquaintance every day. When not working, he spends his time with his wife and son or fishing and boating when time allows. He can be reached via toby@jpfco.com or at 843-367-6125
