Whitnie Clarke-Barrett

Phone: 508-228-3202

Originally from Stillwater, Oklahoma, Whitnie washed ashore on Nantucket in 2009, where she met her now-husband and began calling Nantucket home. Since then, Whitnie and her husband, Kimroy, have continued to enjoy year-round island living, along with their Nantucket native children, Harrison, Charlotte, and Shepherd.

When not in the office, Whitnie can be found spending time with her family at their favorite community gatherings, cheering at her children's sporting events and activities, enjoying her family's backyard and the surrounding conservation land, or taking in the view at nearby Cisco Beach. Whitnie is a proud enrolled citizen of the Muscogee Nation, of which her matrilineal lineage can be traced back to the 1898 Final Rolls of Citizens and Freedmen of the Five Civilized Tribes.

With a Bachelor of Science degree in Merchandising and Management from Oklahoma State University, a large portion of Whitnie's educational background lies in market analysis, retail and merchandising analytics, and strategic management, which easily lends itself to her role as Rental Manager at JPFCO.

As a member of J Pepper Frazier Company, Whitnie brings a calm, collected energy to serving clients and supporting the team. She understands the unique challenges of operating a short-term rental on Nantucket and works closely with homeowners throughout the listing process. In managing the rental program, she provides guidance on permitting, tax obligations, and compliance at both the state and local levels, while also educating clients on rental procedure. Whitnie also assists with the firm's day-to-day operations and is committed to delivering excellent customer service, ensuring a seamless experience for both homeowners and tenants.
