Not only is the market hot, but May and June are hot. Believe it or not, May and June can be some of the best months on Island. May has the excitement of the island waking up; the flora is turning green, the cherry trees are blossoming, the weather is high 60’s/low 70’s during the day and 50’s at night, the stores and restaurants are opening and the fish are approaching. Wine Festival, which is an amazing event, kicks off the season and then it is “go” from there. June is even warmer, everything is open, there are no crowds and the fish are here. And, if you are renting (i.e. a tenant), the rates are basically half the peak price. May and June are amazing months on Nantucket; they are hidden gems. And, they are great months to shop for real estate!
