School’s are out, summer solstice happened and Nantucket is in full swing! A big business on Nantucket are vacation rentals. J Pepper Frazier Company represent close to 1,000 summer rental properties and do at least that many summer leases. As the number of leases we broker grows, so do tenant expectations. Now, A/C (at the very least window units), new towels and linens, beach chairs, umbrella, and WiFi are the minimum. We do everything we can to make sure our Landlords are fully equipped and ready to set the Tenant’s week off on the right foot. However, if the Tenant walks in and the A/C is not working, then all of a sudden, in the Tenant’s mind, nothing works, and it can make for a very long week. So, if you are a Landlord, make sure your A/C works and the Internet password is very visible!
