Nantucket real estate sales hit $1,000,000,000 for the first time since 2005! Well, not quite yet, but we are well on our way. I am predicting that sales hit at least $1B for 2014. That’s a bold prediction considering we only hit $760mm last year and last year was a strong year. We are currently at $439mm, which is not even half way, but we have three of the strongest months ahead of us. With strong sales, comes strong appreciation. Values have not completely shot up, but they are on the verge. So, don’t miss the boat, ride the wave.
